I. Jenkins Mikell, III, CLU® ChFC®

Jenks, a Presbyterian College Graduate and a Naval Officer, joined New York Life in 1994 and specializes in life insurance and retirement strategies. Nationally recognized as a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table*  representing the top 2 percent of financial professionals.

He has served as President of Capitol Rotary Club, Scarborough Hamer Foundation, Columbia Estate Planning Council, South Carolina Life Insurance Leaders and Midlands National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He achieved his Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College in 2000 and soon after achieved his Chartered Financial Consultant designation.

He is married to the "gentlest dentist in Columbia" Julia K Mikell.  He has two kids, Isaac and Isabelle.  In his spare time, you will find him in the outdoors hunting or fishing and enjoying the coastal area of Edisto Island.
